We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial and administrative activities in Tacoma, Washington. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys working accurately with invoices, billing records, and reconciliations while partnering with internal teams to keep accounting operations running smoothly. The position also offers a hybrid schedule with the flexibility to work remotely two days each week.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee recurring telecommunications billing by reviewing invoice details, verifying accuracy, and assigning costs to the appropriate department or site.
• Route invoices through the payment workflow and monitor approvals within the accounts payable process to help ensure timely processing.
• Keep organized documentation related to orders, service setup, billing activity, and support requests for easy tracking and reference.
• Assist with balancing accounts and completing a variety of clerical and accounting support tasks as business needs arise.
• Respond to questions from internal stakeholders and deliver dependable service when addressing billing or account-related matters.
• Use tools such as NetSuite, Concur, and Excel to complete financial tracking, reporting, and general accounting support activities.
• Work closely with accounting and technical teams to identify opportunities to streamline procedures and improve day-to-day efficiency.
• Take on additional department support duties as assigned to help meet operational and financial objectives.• Experience supporting accounts payable, billing, or general accounting operations in an administrative or clerical capacity.
• Ability to process invoices accurately, enter data efficiently, and maintain well-organized financial records.
• Familiarity with account reconciliation and reviewing transactions to resolve discrepancies.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across internal departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort learning or using systems such as NetSuite and Concur.
• High attention to detail and a consistent approach to handling sensitive financial information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow established procedures, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
