Regional Sales Specialist

OverviewThe Regional Sales Specialist is responsible for the sales efforts at each Oakmont Management Community. This position works with the Corporate Marketing Director to establish and carry out the marketing plans at each Community by ensuring the sales process and all onsite marketing and sales efforts are completed thoroughly and effectively, while meeting Oakmont standards.This role requires travel throughout Northern California. Travel up to 95%+ is required. Travel assignments may be for extended periods of time and may frequently change; flexibility and availability are required.Salary range: $90k-$100k plus a competitive bonus structure.Travel Requirements: Up to 95%+ Travel Required. Travel to assigned Communities based on need and priority.Note: Senior Living experience is required.ResponsibilitiesProvide sales support to the community when needed.Provide ongoing training to the sales staff as needed.Oversee sales process at the property level including: Oakmont Tour Experience and Tour ProcessConcierge Welcoming Standards, Tour TreePhone Calls, Mail Out, and Sales Productivity Goals and ExpectationsNetworking Strategy, Effectiveness, and ProductivityAll Sales and Special Events Including Luncheons, VIP and Grand Openings, Open Houses, Resident Referral Parties, etc.In tandem with Marketing Directors, create and oversee marketing budget and plan for each communityMaintain Hold/Sold status reports by holding communities accountable to send accurately and timelyEvaluate lead-to-tour and tour-to-deposit ratios; train and follow up properlyManage direct mail lists for each Community through high-speed marketing or selected companyEstablish inside and outside sales call expectations and monitor the level of efficiency at each communityHelp plan and partake in annual sales meetingsProvide ongoing training on special programsHelp create and maintain marketing process and procedures manual for CommunitiesConduct mystery shops by hiring a company to ensure quality controlEstablish and train all new development sales teams, and provide additional support to these teams as neededCommunicate regularly with Executive Directors to discuss the performance of the Sales and Marketing teams at each respective communityQualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.Required 2 years working in the senior industry in a sales capacityRequired experience with direct sales in Memory Care and Assisted LivingAbility to read, write and speak the English language and to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, residents, and their familiesMust be highly motivated and able to work independently without supervisionMust pass a criminal record clearance and health and drug screening prior to employmentMust be willing and able to travel a minimum of 50% of the timeFor the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision benefitsVacation, Personal Day, Sick Pay, HolidaysComplimentary MealsBonus OpportunitiesCompany Paid Life InsuranceTeam Member Discount Program (LifeMart)401(k) Savings Plan with Company MatchRecognition ProgramsStudent Loan RefinancingTuition ReimbursementPet InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramEmergency Financial AssistanceOakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, is a recognized leader in the senior living industry that manages a portfolio of communities under the Oakmont Senior Living and Ivy Living brands.
