Our partner, a well-established and growing law firm in Montgomery, AL, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to provide support to two partners and work alongside a collaborative team of attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals.

If you’re an experienced legal secretary with a strong background in litigation, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and a sharp eye for detail, this could be an exciting opportunity to join a respected firm and make an immediate impact. We’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities will include:

• Prepare, edit, and finalize legal documents and correspondence, including letters, memos, contracts, transactional documents, and reports.
• Organize and maintain accurate electronic and paper files.
• Manage and track attorney schedules, deadlines, and calendars.
• Coordinate meetings, conferences, and other appointments.
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally.
• Enter, edit, and finalize billable time and client billing in accordance with Outside Counsel Guidelines.
• Research and respond to inquiries and requests for information.
• Provide additional administrative and legal support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous legal experience preferred; litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and video conferencing platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and team members.
• Ability to successfully manage competing deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client-service mindset and professional demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Public Notary certification preferred.
• Ability to work occasional overtime, as needed.
