Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist who can independently manage a wide range of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and payroll coordination. This is a hands‐on role ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable being the primary HR contact for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full‐cycle recruitment for store and administrative roles

• Oversee onboarding, training coordination, and new‐hire documentation

• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal and Massachusetts labor laws

• Coordinate timekeeping, scheduling updates, and payroll support

• Address employee relations issues and provide guidance to supervisors

• Assist with performance reviews and corrective actions

• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures

• Support workplace safety, benefits administration, and ACA compliance

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail, grocery, or hospitality

• Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices

• Experience with onboarding, scheduling, and payroll systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Bilingual (English/Chinese) is a plus

• HR certification (PHR, SHRM‐CP) is a plus
