The University of Cincinnati College of Nursing invites applications for open-rank, non-tenure-track faculty positions. Faculty will contribute to the College's teaching, service, and scholarship missions. Candidates teach and provide leadership across undergraduate and/or graduate nursing programs, with assignments based on program needs and the candidate's qualifications, experience, and areas of expertise. Academic rank and track will be determined based on the successful candidate's education, qualifications, and experience. This position requires residence in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana or willingness to relocate as this is an onsite position. Responsibilities may include didactic, clinical, laboratory, simulation, or online instruction; student advising and mentoring; curriculum development and evaluation; participation in College and University service; and engagement in scholarly or professional activities.

Essential functions include conducting and teaching assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars, attending meetings, participating in governance, preparing materials for teaching, evaluating related work for students, serving as an academic adviser, participating in curriculum development activities, and engaging in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities. Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required education includes a master's degree in nursing or a nursing doctorate degree from an accredited college or university. Required trainings/certifications include an active, unrestricted Ohio or multi-state registered nurse license, or eligibility to obtain the required license. Required experience includes a minimum of five years of nursing practice experience and a minimum of two years of nursing education experience.

Teaching assignments may include in-person, clinical, laboratory, simulation, hybrid, or online instruction, depending on program needs. Regular travel to campus and other assigned instructional or clinical locations is required. Finalists will be subject to applicable University background-check requirements. Physical requirements/work environment include an office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
