The Department of Ophthalmology spans all sub-specialties. It is affiliated with the Cincinnati Eye Institute, one of the largest eye care practices in the country. The department is seeking an academic Assistant/Associate Professor of Ophthalmology for a non-tenure track position. The successful applicant will be provided with a competitive salary and benefits, and the final faculty rank/title will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications.

Essential Functions:

• Perform clinical duties in Ophthalmology within the University of Cincinnati Residency clinic 4-5 days a week.
• The candidate will be expected to participate in the operating room, outpatient clinic, and the advising and training of fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Demonstrate a commitment to an academic career through research, teaching, and supporting the department's academic mission.
• Attend departmental and divisional meetings as relevant, including Faculty participation in grand rounds and educational conferences.

Minimum Requirements:

• MD/DO or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited residency in Ophthalmology
• Licensure by the Ohio Medical Board is required at the time of appointment

• Board eligible in Ophthalmology
