Assistant Professor, Division of Nephrology

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM) is seeking candidates for two full-time faculty positions in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology. The department is recognized for its cutting-edge research and contributions to the knowledge of kidney diseases. The division offers training opportunities in Nephrology, including enhanced training in transplantation, dialysis, quality improvement, and patient safety.

Duties for two (2) Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in IM-Nephrology will include contributing to the clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions of the division and will include both transplant and general nephrology practice. Responsibilities will encompass an active role in departmental fellowship programs, resident, and medical student teaching. Precepting of fellows, medical students and/or residents in an office-based practice as well as providing lectures or leading small group discussions as part of the COM or residency curriculum, clinical case conferences, core curricula and journal clubs. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements include an MD or equivalent medical degree, an Ohio medical license, completion of a three-year Internal Medicine residency, and completion of a two-year nephrology fellowship program.
