Claims Coordinator

Claims Coordinator

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We are seeking a Claims Coordinator to support our client's team.

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay rate: $21.50/hr

Employment Type: Temporary (2 months, possibly longer)

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Schedule: M-F 7 am to 3:30 pm

What You'll Do:

  • Review and manage internal shipping trace requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Proactively communicate with carriers to investigate and resolve issues related to delayed, lost, or missing shipments.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time records of trace progress and carrier updates in Google Sheets for full visibility and audit readiness.
  • Triage aging traces (over 5 business days) and escalate to carriers to secure timely resolutions and prevent service delays.
  • Deliver exceptional internal customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns related to shipping traces.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to confirm shipments have been completed.

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • 2+ years of customer service or administrative experience
  • Previous experience in surveillance or security would be an asset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage time while prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite Products
  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer, potentially for long periods of time
  • Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks
  • Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 pounds
  • Phone Answering: Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficiently
  • Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
