Day-in-the-Life

You’ll set up, operate, monitor, and steadily improve CNC machining processes to manufacture high-precision components. Depending on your experience, your day could range from complex setups and part inspection to coaching operators, coordinating workflow, supporting production scheduling, and even guiding material and inventory needs. Leadership opportunities are available for those ready to step up.

What You’ll Tackle

• Run turning centers and milling centers to produce precision parts per work orders, routers, and blueprints.
• Perform close-tolerance setups on conventional and CNC equipment by studying drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals; load/verify computerized instructions.
• Document everything: sign off and complete required forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Execute quality tests and operational checks to confirm conformance.
• Verify parts with precision measurement tools.
• Pitch in on additional tasks as needed to keep production flowing.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Fluency with calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and reading blueprints.
• Hands-on understanding of CNC controls and cutting tools.
• Ability to deburr and handle parts to exact customer requirements.
• Independent work style; safety- and quality-first mindset.
• Organized, detail-focused, and clear communicator across teams and management.
• Ownership mindset—accountable for decisions and their impact on others.
