Reporting to the US Media Director, this role partners cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Product, Research, and Agency teams to ensure campaigns are delivered with operational excellence.The Analyst works closely with the media agency to oversee campaign setup, execution, optimization, and reporting, helping drive effective and efficient media investments. This is an exciting opportunity for a media professional looking to expand their executional expertise while contributing to the growth of a high-profile brand and business in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Role:Campaign Management • Support U.S. media team in planning and execution of integrated media campaigns across digital, social, video, search, programmatic, CTV and emerging channels. • Track campaign launches and ensure flawless execution. • Assist with planning deliverables, including audience sizing, channel mix, partner consideration set, budget allocation, timelines, and approvals across internal and external partners. • Work closely with the cross-functional marketing and product teams to manage programs and translate media results into clear and legible takeaways• Support in media recommendations to internal teams and external merchants or issuer partners as needed• Build strong relationships with the external media community, to help keep team informed of marketplace trends, partner landscape, and technological innovations impacting the industry• Manage day-to-day plan changes/maintenance of media plans and performance reports ensuring accuracy• Manage campaign budgets and annual commitments for specified programs, including managing monthly budget meetings with finance and external agency • Serve as a day-to-day contact for media agency partners. • Monitor campaign pacing, optimization recommendations, and budget management. Measurement & Reporting • Assist in developing campaign measurement plans and facilitate tagging implementation with internal digital marketing team• Monitor campaign performance against media and marketing KPIs. • Assist with executive-ready performance summaries and dashboards. • Identify trends and recommend optimization opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with Consumer Marketing, Enterprise, Analytics, Finance, Procurement, and Creative teams. • Coordinate cross-functional meetings and track key action items. • Help ensure alignment across multiple concurrent initiatives. Operational Excellence • Maintain campaign documentation, media calendars, and project trackers. • Support budget tracking and invoice reconciliation. • Help identify opportunities to improve team processes and ways of working. Innovation • Stay informed on evolving media trends, consumer behaviors, and emerging platforms. • Support evaluation of new media opportunities and pilot programs. • Bring forward new ideas that improve effectiveness and efficiency. All About You • Bachelor’s degree • Relevant experience in media planning, ideally with demonstrated progression in campaign execution and strategy. • Experience working at or with media agencies. • Demonstrated knowledge across all media channels, TV, OTT, Online Video, Radio, outdoor and all Digital channels, especially social. • Experience working on projects that require collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders • Strong project management and organizational skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. • Familiarity with campaign reporting, third-party tools (i.e. comScore, Kantar), digital ad servers (i.e. DCM), implementing tags and the trafficking process• Competencies around AI, digital marketing, and emerging media trends. • Ability to build trusted relationships with agency and internal partners.Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
