Sub-Investigator (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) Position Overview Vitalix Clinical is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our expanding clinical research team as a Sub-Investigator. This is an outstanding opportunity for providers who enjoy patient care but are looking for a new challenge outside of traditional clinical practice. You'll work alongside experienced Principal Investigators while participating in groundbreaking research evaluating new treatments for conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, Alzheimer's disease, obesity, and other medical disorders—including innovative psychedelic clinical trials currently transforming the future of mental health treatment. Previous clinical research experience is not required. What You'll Do As a Sub-Investigator, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the safe, ethical, and successful conduct of clinical trials by: Performing protocol-required medical evaluations and physical assessments Determining participant eligibility based on study inclusion/exclusion criteria Monitoring participant safety throughout study participation Reviewing laboratory results, ECGs, medications, adverse events, and safety data Obtaining informed consent when delegated Working closely with Principal Investigators, study coordinators, raters, sponsors, and CROs Reviewing and signing delegated study documentation Participating in sponsor meetings, site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and audits Maintaining compliance with FDA regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, IRB requirements, and study protocols Supporting participant recruitment and helping expand access to cutting-edge research opportunities What We're Looking For Active Massachusetts NP/APRN or PA-C license in good standing Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Passion for advancing medicine through research Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment Clinical research experience is a plus—but not required Why Join Vitalix Clinical?
