Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery Center

Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 07:00 – 17:30

Assignment Details:

• Assignment duration: Per unit needs (will accept 18-week assignments)
• Daily census: Approximately 45 visits per day

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
• Traveler experience accepted if RN can scrub and has solid ENT experience
• Required certification: BLS
• Charting system experience: Epic required
• Core clinical skills: Ambulatory OR experience with strong ENT scrub skills including procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center environment.
• Assist in various ENT and ophthalmology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and effectively communicate with healthcare professionals using Epic.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with infection control measures.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 40 hours
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• No call requirement; weekend coverage not required.
