Customer Service Supervisor

HireLevel is looking for a Customer Service Rep Job Category: Full-Time Temp to Hire Location: Bridgeton, Mo Shift: Monday -Friday First shift Compensation: $50,000-5-$55,000 a year Company Benefits once hired: 401(k) health insurance dental and vision insurance life and disability insurance paid time off Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and provide timely, professional service. Coordinate and communicate with customers, drivers, dispatchers, terminals, and internal teams. Monitor shipments and provide customers with accurate status updates. Assist with scheduling, appointments, pickups, deliveries, and changes to transportation plans. Troubleshoot shipment issues and proactively communicate delays or problems. Enter and maintain accurate customer and shipment information in company systems. Process and maintain required documentation. Respond quickly to customer questions, requests, and concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and transportation partners. Work closely with operations and dispatch to ensure customer expectations are met. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Identify potential issues before they become larger customer-service problems. Requirements Intermodal transportation Drayage Trucking or freight operations Transportation logistics Terminal/rail operations Dispatch or load coordination Customer service within the transportation industry The Ideal Candidate Industry knowledge is critical for this position. We are not simply looking for someone with general customer service experience. The ideal candidate will already understand the intermodal environment and be comfortable navigating the daily challenges that come with transportation, customers, drivers, terminals, and time-sensitive shipments.
