Guided by a process rooted in listening, we partner closely with clients across industries and around the country to uncover opportunities, shape communities, and design environments that leave a lasting legacy.Our Legal and Risk Management team is looking for a Specialist - Contracts and Governance to join our team, preferably in Baltimore.About The PositionContracts: Review and generate client and consultant contracts and amendmentsCoordination: Coordinate with project teams regarding contract workflowFirmwide Communication: Communicate and interact with all levels of the organizationWorkflow: Manage multiple tasks and deadlines to maintain flow of work, including direct interaction with the General Counsel regarding prioritizationTraining: Collaborate with other team members in creating legal/risk management trainings for the firm as well as for specifically tailored needsAccounting & Finance: Partner with accounting team members to initiate the contract process and review contractual needsInsurance: Monitor and coordinate insurance requirementsConfidential Information: Maintain and communicate confidential and governance-related information under the direction of the firm's General CounselFlexibility: Hybrid working environment with 3 core on-site days and remote flexibility for remaining daysAbout YouBachelor's DegreeAt least three years of professional experience in an office environment.Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong analytical skills and detail-oriented.Basic fluency with complex commercial contracts is preferred.Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint, architectural contract software, and DocuSign is a plus.About Our CultureWe believe there's power in purpose. HCM's salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, as well as the individual's education, experience, and skillsets.
