Registered Nurse/Oncology Chemo Certified

Acute Leukemia and Hematology Nurse - 12 Hour Day/Night or Night Shifts - CHEMO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Experience Requirements Must have medical-surgical oncology experience and at least one inpatient hematology oncology experience documented in work history and checklist. A minimum of two years of overall nursing experience is required. Candidate Criteria First-time travelers: Not accepted Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics Patient Diagnoses: Primarily care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients Medical Unit: High volume of blood products, IV antibiotics, and electrolyte management. Staffing and Scheduling Staffing Ratios: Target ratio is 1:4, with possible 1:5 Weekends: Variable based on unit needs Schedule: No fixed or blocked scheduling If accepting a 12-hour day/night rotating contract, shifts may include days, nights, or a combination depending on departmental needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4 weeks; changes are not guaranteed and depend on staffing priorities.
