Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) or Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Hours/week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS Chemo Certified Nurse

Experience: Minimum 2 years nursing experience; inpatient hematology/oncology and MS oncology experience required

What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients, primarily those newly diagnosed with acute leukemia
• Administer chemotherapy and manage IV therapies, blood products, and electrolyte balance
• Monitor telemetry for dysrhythmias and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Support infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention measures
• Collaborate with rapid response teams and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, feeding tubes, and peripheral IV access
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning

What You Need

• Current Ohio RN license and ONS Chemo Certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, including inpatient hematology/oncology
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and IV therapy
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage central lines

• NIHSS certification
