Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Back Office Medical Assistant responsible for managing patient rooms, performing EKGs, taking vitals, and assisting with administrative duties. The role is designed to support healthcare operations by ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Rooms patients.
• Perform EKGs.
• Takes vitals.
• Takes patient history and chief complaint.
• Clean and disinfect room and medical devices.
• Answers incoming calls or returns voicemails as needed.
• Assists in prepping charts and ensuring all documentation is ready.
• Assists with prescription refill calls and authorizations as needed.

Qualifications

• MA Diploma or Certification.
• EMR experience.
• 1+ years of medical assistant experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
• Athena Experience (preferred).
• EKG experience (preferred).
