Registered Nurse (RN) operating room travel contract for 13 weeks in or near Charlotte, North Carolina. Provide perioperative nursing care, collaborate with surgical teams, and ensure patient safety and compliance with surgical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room, ensuring safety and compliance with surgical protocols.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to facilitate smooth surgical procedures and patient outcomes.

• Maintain strict adherence to sterilization, infection control, and safety guidelines during operative procedures.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergent situations promptly and effectively.

• Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent professional qualification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Minimum 1 year of recent perioperative or operating room nursing experience

• Valid North Carolina nursing license or compact license

• Strong patient assessment skills

• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Strong clinical judgment

• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

• Operating room-specific certifications
