Provide personalized, five-star service while supporting the daily operation and presentation of the property’s luxury amenities. Anticipate residents’ needs, assist with requests, maintain welcoming and well-appointed amenity spaces, and create an exceptional resident and guest experience through attentive, professional, and proactive service.

Duties and Essential Functions

• Warmly welcome and greet residents and guests while maintaining a professional, attentive, and service-oriented demeanor at all times.
• Anticipate residents’ needs and respond to requests promptly, professionally, and with discretion.
• Serve as a resident liaison and property ambassador, providing assistance, information, and personalized service throughout the property.
• Assist residents with personal requests, including escorting residents to and from their units, assisting with belongings, luggage, groceries, deliveries, and other reasonable requests.
• Assist with resident requests such as dining and event reservations, transportation arrangements, deliveries, local recommendations, and other concierge-style services.
• Support unit preparation and resident arrival requests as directed, including coordination of requested items and services.
• Provide assistance throughout the property’s amenity areas and ensure residents and guests receive attentive service during their use of the amenities.
• Assist residents with lounge chairs, towels, umbrellas, cabanas, recreational equipment, and other amenity-related items as applicable.
• Set up, organize, and maintain amenity areas throughout the day, ensuring furniture, equipment, towels, and other items are properly arranged and presented.
• Maintain required amenity sign-in, reservation, equipment checkout, or usage records as applicable.
• Monitor amenity areas to ensure compliance with Association Rules and Regulations while communicating policies to residents and guests in a courteous and hospitality-focused manner.
• Conduct routine walkthroughs of assigned amenity areas to ensure spaces remain clean, organized, safe, fully stocked, and presentation-ready.
• Promptly report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or other operational issues to the appropriate supervisor or department.
• Assist with light upkeep of amenity areas, including organizing furniture, replenishing supplies, removing discarded items, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Desk, Concierge, Lifestyle, Security, and other departments as needed to fulfill resident requests and maintain seamless service.
• Assist with resident events, amenity programming, special activities, and property functions as assigned.
• Resolve resident and guest concerns promptly when possible and escalate matters to management when additional assistance is required.
• Respect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding resident information, preferences, requests, and activities.
• Develop familiarity with residents’ service preferences when appropriate to provide personalized and anticipatory service.
• Maintain the highest standards of personal appearance, grooming, uniform presentation, professionalism, and workplace organization.
• Approach all interactions with residents, guests, vendors, and fellow team members in a gracious, courteous, attentive, and professional manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility in scheduling based on the operational and service needs of the property.
• Assist other departments with projects, resident services, and operational needs as assigned.

Supervisor

Employee reports directly to the Property Manager or in their absence directly to the General Manager of the community.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor areas throughout the property, including residential and amenity spaces. The position requires frequent interaction with residents, guests, team members, and vendors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions while performing outdoor amenity responsibilities.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 40 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time non-exempt position, average 40 hours a week. Will be required to come in for emergency situations. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management
• Previous working experience as a Butler or Assistant Butler; minimum 3 years of experience.
• Working knowledge with computers and software used in an office environment.
• Must be able to communicate well and convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be creative and enjoy creating a luxury lifestyle that is fun and safe for residents.
• Must consistently exhibit the CAN-DO attitude.
