Nurse Practitioner - Structural Heart

Description This is a part-time opportunity for an Adult Acute Care NP in the Structural Heart Program. The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). By using the SPs the NP is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings (Ca Nursing Practice Act, subsection(b) of Section 2725). The NP will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals and documents services rendered. This is a 50% part-time position. Salary range: NP2: $93.81- $133.97 /hourly NP1 : less than 6 months NP exp : $84.62/hourly Qualifications BLS from AHA or ARC ACL S from AHA CA RN and CA Nurse Practitioner State of California NP, State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, National Certification (i.e. ANCC) as AG-ACNP Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Adult Acute Care (AG-ACNP) NP Specialty NPI #, DEA #, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES Previous NP experience - strongly preferred Previous Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery experience-required Ability to utilize excel, word and other software program-required Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required Skill in working independently and following through with minimum directions-required Ability to set priorities-required Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required NP1 : less than 6 months exp : $84.62/hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr
