About the Role:

As a Line Cook in the accommodation and food services industry, you will play a critical role in preparing and cooking high-quality meals that meet our establishment's standards and delight our guests. You will be responsible for efficiently managing your assigned station, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared according to recipes and safety guidelines. This role requires close collaboration with kitchen staff and management to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while meeting the demands of a fast-paced kitchen. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall reputation of our dining services. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary school certification or formal culinary training.
• Experience with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Familiarity with menu planning and inventory management.
• Food Handler’s Permit or ServSafe certification.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations throughout the shift.
• Ensure all food is stored and handled in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timely service.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
