Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish a positive and trusting rapport with patients by utilizing active listening and empathetic communication techniques.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing DSM-5 criteria and evidence-based practices.

• Create personalized, dynamic treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.

• Meet regularly with patients for individual and couples therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists when referrals are necessary, ensuring comprehensive care for clients.

• Facilitate workshops and group therapy sessions as needed, focusing on relationship enhancement and effective communication strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will directly involve treating a diverse range of patients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and addiction. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
