Staff Accountant

You will work closely with our accounting, operations and management teams, and get hands‑on exposure to the financial side of a fast‑growing business funding company. We work with brokers and ISOs nationwide, offering flexible funding solutions from $10,000 to $5 million, covering A-to-D paper, 2nd positions and beyond. What You Will Do Handle day-to-day accounting and financial operations Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account reconciliations Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable Perform bank and cash reconciliations Track incoming and outgoing payments Assist with daily cash-position reporting Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Maintain organized financial records and documentation Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Assist management with financial reports and analysis Work closely with operations to make sure transactions are recorded accurately Help improve accounting processes, controls and reporting as the company grows What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and problem‑solving ability Comfortable working to deadlines across multiple priorities Able to work independently while still being part of a team Professional, dependable, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities Experience That Helps, But Is Not Required Experience in business finance, alternative finance, merchant cash advance, lending, banking or financial services is a major plus.
