Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!

Job Description:


- Shift: 15:00-03:00
- Location: Pasadena, Texas, South Tower, First Floor
- Number of Beds: 30
- Staffing:
- 49 FTE, 6 PRN, 2 Leadership
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, RNs, 2 PCT/EMT, 1 US (based on volume forecast: 7-10)
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, RNs, 1 PCT/EMT, 1 US (based on volume forecast: 7-10)
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 at most (acuity dependent)
- Equipment: Advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, EKG machines
- EMR: Meditech (moving to Expanse on 8/13/26)

Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills:
- Advanced critical thinking and skills
- Extensive experience with trauma, STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis
- Preferred Skills:
- Adult and pediatric Emergency Department experience
- Completed certifications aligned under HCA Nurse Contract and Pool

Common Procedures Performed:
- Thoracotomy
- Arterial lines and MTP

Required Certifications:
- ENPC
- TNCC
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
- CPI with TIC
- (NRP and STABLE is a plus)

Floating Area(s):
- Two Free Standing ED if needed

- Royal Blue scrubs as per Dress Code Policy

Weekends & On Call:
- Will work alternate weekends
