This position is primarily responsible for keeping common areas, grounds, and facilities clean, safe, and presentable for residents and visitors. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active throughout the day, and taking pride in maintaining a clean environment.ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain common areas, offices, hallways, and restroomsSweep, vacuum, and perform general custodial duties as neededPick up trash and debris throughout the propertyEmpty trash receptacles and maintain clean grounds and walkwaysAssist with moving supplies and other light labor tasks as neededDistribute notices, flyers, or other information throughout the propertyFollow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environmentQualificationsPrevious custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionDependable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsPositive attitude and ability to work well with residents and coworkersPhysical RequirementsAbility to work outdoors for most of the dayAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 50 poundsComfortable working in various weather conditions
