THE GIST:

Our client, a Bay Area based SaaS startup with global reach, is seeking a People & Talent Project Manager to join their People team in San Francisco. You'll own the operating rhythm for the People function by driving strategic initiatives, ensuring key programs execute flawlessly, and building scalable systems that enable a lean, high-performing team.

THE NITTY GRITTY:

• Own the operating cadence for the People team, including OKRs, planning cycles, project roadmaps, cross-functional dependencies, and executive reporting.
• Drive key People initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring projects remain on track and focused on measurable outcomes.
• Manage company learning and development programs, designing engaging learning experiences with a strong emphasis on AI adoption and capability building.
• Lead the execution of performance management cycles, ensuring timelines, communications, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination are completed seamlessly.
• Oversee employee engagement initiatives from survey planning through action planning and follow-up, partnering with leaders to turn feedback into meaningful improvements.
• Build scalable systems and workflows that automate manual work and improve operational efficiency across the People function.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation to streamline processes, reporting, and team operations.
• Partner cross-functionally with leaders throughout the organization to keep initiatives aligned, prioritized, and moving forward.
• Surface risks early, remove roadblocks, and create accountability across complex, cross-functional projects.

 

THE ESSENTIALS:

• 3+ years of experience in People Operations, Talent Operations, and/or HR Operations
• Experience working at a tech startup or high-growth tech company required
• A highly organized project manager who excels at balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
• Curious about emerging AI technologies and excited to apply them to improve workflows and team effectiveness
• Experience with modern HR technology platforms such as Ashby, Workday, Greenhouse, or employee engagement tools preferred
• Comfortable owning ambiguity and creating structure where none exists.
• Passionate about building scalable systems rather than relying on manual processes
• Naturally collaborative with excellent communication skills
• Analytical, proactive, and driven by measurable outcomes rather than simply completing tasks
• Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments where ownership and initiative are highly valued

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

 

COMPENSATION: $140k to 155k base salary + equity + benefits (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
