Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs and formulate specialized therapy plans that empower them to reach their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven methods to boost patients' motor functionality, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic and all-encompassing care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families in therapeutic methods that encourage progress beyond therapy sessions
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients are progressing effectively

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Required Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
