Position: Business Development Officer

Location: Conway, AR

First Service Bank, honored as one of Arkansas' Best Places to Work for seven consecutive years (2020-2026), is looking for an outgoing, driven, and community-minded Business Development Officer to help us grow relationships, expand core deposits, and connect businesses and individuals with banking solutions that help them succeed.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk kind of role. We're looking for someone who enjoys being out in the community, meeting business owners, building a network, attending local events, and creating meaningful opportunities to introduce people to First Service Bank.

What You'll Do

As our Business Development Officer, you'll be a visible ambassador for First Service Bank and play an important role in our continued growth. You'll:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, existing customers, businesses, community leaders, and referral partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a primary focus on growing core deposits.
• Make regular business development and retention calls to prospective and existing customers.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, tracking leads and relationships from initial contact through conversion.
• Collaborate with bankers, leadership, regional board members, and other internal partners through a team-selling approach to develop relationships and grow core deposits.
• Connect customers with banking solutions that meet their needs, including deposit products, treasury management services, and other financial solutions.
• Represent First Service Bank at Chamber events, ribbon cuttings, civic organizations, charitable events, educational events, and other community activities.
• Build an extensive network of business, professional, and community contacts.
• Stay informed about local business activity, market opportunities, customer needs, and banking trends.
• Provide timely, responsive, and exceptional service to customers and prospective customers.
• Help strengthen First Service Bank's visibility and reputation throughout the communities we serve.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and creating opportunities. You should be comfortable walking into a room, starting a conversation, building trust, and following through.

We're looking for someone with strong business development, sales, relationship management, or banking experience; excellent communication, networking, negotiation, and presentation skills; knowledge of banking products and services; and the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

A bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is required. Previous banking experience is strongly preferre d.
