Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Tool & Die Repair Technician to join our dynamic team in Belleville, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing our tooling and die equipment, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair tooling and die equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools and dies.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Assist in the design and fabrication of new tooling as needed.
- Train and mentor junior technicians in best practices and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool and die repair.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
