On the job, you’ll provide primary care in a correctional facility, while on your days off, you'll have the opportunity to explore nearby towns, enjoy plenty of local amenities, and embrace endless outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and fishing. Location: Southcentral Alaska

Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract

Date Range: ASAP Start Date through September 30th, 2026 (potential to extend)

Schedule: 4/10s schedule, specific workdays TBD

Compensation: $105.00 hourly rate (make $16,000+ per month!)

Facility Information:  

• Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 14 per day (approximately 12 total long-term care patients)
• This is a Primary Care Clinic in a Correctional Facility; Urgent Care as needed for injuries

Requirements:

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license with the State of Alaska
• Board Certification
• Active BLS
• Active DEA registration
• Minimum 2 years of experience
