Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Legal Assistant to become a part of our fast-paced litigation team. You will provide overall support to attorney and paralegal for all litigation functions.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain electronic legal files
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Answer telephones and communicate with our important clients
Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize and multitask is a must
- Must be well-versed in the use of computers: saving, drafting, printing, editing in MS Word and Excel and Adobe
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must be level-headed and able to handle fast pace of litigation in a demanding environment
- Must be able to work in Richmond office. No remote work
- Must pass background check
