Job Title: Sr. Accountant-Japanese Bilingual Location: Addison, TX 75001 Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8 hrs/day, negotiable) Work Style: Onsite FLSA Status: Non-exempt Experience Level: 5+ years accounting experience Language: Japanese/English bilingual (writing & speaking) Job Title: Senior Accountant Overview We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations. This role plays a key part in financial analysis, audit coordination, and supporting management decision-making. Responsibilities Lead monthly and year-end financial close processes Review journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare financial reports and support group reporting requirements Support budgeting and forecasting; perform variance analysis Manage tax compliance (e.g., Sales & Use Tax, 1099) with external advisors Research and apply accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, J-GAAP) Assist with audits and improve accounting processes Provide guidance to junior accounting staff Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5–8+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with IFRS and J-GAAP preferred Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) Strong analytical and communication skills Preferred CPA or progress toward CPA/CMA Experience working with international or overseas reporting Language Requirement Business-level Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) required #J-18808-Ljbffr Pasona N A, Inc.
