Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantOur client, an Information Services and Technology Research company, is looking for a Senior Accountant for their Fort Myers, FL location.Responsibilities:Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes.Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances, risks, and opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve accounting issues.Prepare reports and present findings to management in a clear and concise manner.Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Teams; experience with accounting software (e.g. Oracle).High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhy Should You Apply?Health BenefitsReferral ProgramExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
