Team Manager, Electrical Engineering The Team Manager leads a talented group of electrical engineers and designers, overseeing complex multidisciplinary projects from concept through completion. The role combines hands‑on technical leadership, business operations, and team development, requiring a licensed Professional Engineer. Responsibilities Lead the technical design efforts by producing and overseeing detailed electrical specifications, technical reports, and production drawings/models. Conduct thorough reviews of engineering designs and drawings, including Independent Technical Reviews, to uphold quality and mitigate project risks. Collaborate closely with project managers and clients, facilitating meetings, reviews, and ongoing communication to meet technical requirements, budgets, and schedules. Mentor and develop engineers and designers, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback. Strategically allocate engineering resources and coordinate project assignments to optimize productivity and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Oversee personnel activities such as time‑sheet reviews, performance evaluations, recruitment, and career progression decisions. Qualifications Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering analysis and design of diverse electrical systems. Ability to develop and present conceptual and detailed design ideas to stakeholders using professional visual supports. Understanding of business development processes, including responding to RFPs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with project managers, interdisciplinary teams, and clients. Proven leadership with a track record of delegating tasks efficiently and holding team members accountable. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline (required). Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline (preferred). 10+ years of experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience (required). Salary Range: $124,080 – $186,000 (state pay transparency).
