Salary: $80k+ (DOE) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support attorneys in a growing insurance defense firm specializing in trucking and transportation litigation. This is a billable-focused role with consistent work volume and a strong, supportive firm culture. Paralegals are expected to maintain approximately 100 billable hours per month, which the current team consistently meets without issue.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Draft pleadings, motions, and documents for hearings and depositions
Review, organize, and analyze medical records and related documentation
Manage case calendars, deadlines, and court hearings
Maintain overall organization of case files
Support attorneys with all billable paralegal tasks throughout the litigation process
Strong insurance defense experience, specifically within trucking/transportation litigation
Experience reviewing and analyzing medical records highly preferred (not a deal breaker but a plus)
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
Paralegal certification or relevant legal experience preferred
Paralegals are typically assigned to 2–3 attorneys depending on workload
Average paralegal caseload is approximately 100 cases
Strong insurance defense litigation experience with trucking cases
Highly organized and deadline-driven
Comfortable handling billable work and a steady caseload
Values a healthy firm culture and long-term stability
