Battery Characterization Tester

Job Title Battery Characterization Automation Test Engineer Job Location & Schedule 100% onsite role at Cupertino, California. Working 3 days per week in the office. Responsibilities Set up, maintain, and monitor continuous operation of Apple test devices in the lab. Execute the test process: set up hardware, load test scripts and device settings, start the test, collect data after completion, and validate data quality. Maintain test scripts for various Apple devices. Update test software via GitHub as needed. Update documentation to reflect changes. Required Qualifications 1+ year(s) of experience in test or automation engineering. Proficient in Python for data processing and analysis tool development. Proficient in C/C++ for test software development. Proficient in Linux/Unix (Bash and Shell) scripting. Proficient with revision control software such as GitHub. Self‑started with proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Outstanding problem‑solving, critical thinking, creativity, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment within the Cupertino office. Desirable Skills Hands‑on laboratory experience with test devices. Basic knowledge of battery data. Experience with Apple operating systems (iOS, macOS). Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
