Position Title Racquet Sports Front Desk Staff Job Profile Title Temporary Employee – Non‑Exempt Job Description Summary This position provides operational support to safely and efficiently manage the day‑to‑day operations of Penn Racquet Sports facilities. Responsibilities Respond to inquiries about memberships, private lessons, clinics, programs, junior clinics, and summer camp. Process payments accurately and efficiently. Assist members with navigating and utilizing the facility’s app. Greet customers warmly and create a positive first impression. Continuously provide excellent customer service to address member needs and questions. Manage reservations for tennis courts, ensuring an organized schedule. Efficiently check in both visitors and members. Handle administrative tasks, such as data entry and record keeping. Oversee opening and closing procedures for the facility. Ensure a welcoming and organized front desk area. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities. Customer service experience is a plus. Familiarity with tennis, squash and sports facilities is beneficial. Job Location Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Division of Recreation & Intercollegiate Athletics Pay Range Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job’s level.
