Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy sessions for clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to address mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify needs and develop tailored treatment plans that set measurable and achievable therapeutic goals.

• Utilize family systems theory to guide treatment, addressing communication challenges and relationship dynamics through structured and interactive sessions.

• Facilitate crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support and strategies to ensure client and family safety during high-stress situations.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring all documentation adheres to ethical standards and legal regulations, while updating progress notes regularly.

• Educate clients on effective communication techniques, conflict resolution skills, and personal coping strategies to empower them in their journey toward mental wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Mindful Motion Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse clientele consisting of individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds and age groups. Your role will involve addressing a variety of mental health issues, ranging from everyday emotional challenges to complex crises. You will empower your clients to achieve personal insights and develop sustainable solutions, fundamentally contributing to their emotional and relational well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.

• A master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• A minimum of one year of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in a clinical setting.
