Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in special education to a supportive school environment located close to Jaffrey, NH. This contract opportunity runs from August 21, 2026, through June 14, 2027, and offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (7:15 AM–2:35 PM), totaling 35 hours each week. You will primarily serve students in grades 2–6 at a welcoming site, working with a manageable caseload of approximately 20–24 students with diverse needs—including those identified with Specific Learning Disability (SLD), Speech/Language Impairment (SLI), and Other Health Impairment (OHI).

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Proven experience, or strong readiness, to serve elementary-aged learners (grades 2–6 preferred)
• Familiarity with IEP development, case management, and leading IEP meetings
• Skill in differentiating instruction for reading, writing, math, and executive functioning
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Comfort working with parents, general education teachers, and related service providers

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction aligned with IEP goals in core academic and executive functioning areas
• Serve as case manager for a diverse caseload; organize and lead IEP meetings with support
• Complete and update required special education documentation accurately and on time
• Engage fully in grade-level Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and collaborative team meetings
• Foster strong partnerships with families to support student growth

PLC and team meetings are scheduled regularly, typically on Tuesdays, providing structured time for collaboration, with occasional flexibility for Wednesdays as needed.
