This full-time contract opportunity for a skilled Social Worker runs from September 1st until June 16th, 2027, with working hours from 8:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Key Qualifications: Valid and active 310 School Social Worker credential. Recent experience working with children in an educational or healthcare environment, particularly elementary-aged students. Strong understanding of the unique social, emotional, and behavioral challenges school-aged children may face. Ability to conduct assessments, develop interventions, and collaborate with educators and families. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect counseling services to elementary students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that promote student success. Develop and implement individualized support and intervention plans. Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation. Serve as an advocate for students, connecting them and their families to community resources when appropriate.
