What You'll Do

• Conduct pediatric diagnostic hearing evaluations using age-appropriate testing methods, including visual reinforcement and conditioned play audiometry
• Administer specialized assessments such as otoacoustic emissions and auditory brainstem response tests
• Prescribe and fit hearing aids, cochlear implants, and bone-conduction devices
• Communicate results clearly to parents and caregivers, providing education and care recommendations
• Coordinate follow-up care and collaboratively plan interventions, therapy, or referrals as needed
• Ensure safety and confidentiality in all assessments and documentation
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records following department guidelines

What You Need

• Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD.)
• Active Audiology License in Texas
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Basic pediatric audiology experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and developmental knowledge of pediatric populations
