Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95


Job Description:
The Pediatric Audiologist will test, evaluate, and prescribe treatment for hearing disorders in the pediatric population. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments such as visual reinforcement audiometry, conditioned play audiometry, conventional audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, auditory brainstem response, acoustic immittance testing, and fitting hearing aids, bone-conduction devices, and cochlear implants. The role involves communicating results effectively to parents, providing education, developing follow-up care plans, and recommending necessary interventions or referrals. The position requires maintaining safety, confidentiality, and professional standards in accordance with CHRISTUS guidelines.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Qualifications:

• Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD.) required
• 0-3 years of relevant experience; pediatric experience/rotation preferred
• Active Audiology Licensure in the State of TX required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• ASHA or ABA certification required
