Maintenance Manager

I'm partnering with a well-established industrial manufacturing organization in the western Chicagoland area that is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a highly technical production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance leader who enjoys driving reliability, reducing downtime, and developing high-performing teams. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs Manage CMMS systems, work orders, PM schedules, and equipment history Coordinate maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, and contractor activities Partner closely with operations to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency Drive safety, compliance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment maintenance Experience with CMMS platforms and preventive maintenance programs Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and improve asset reliability Bachelor's degree, technical diploma, or equivalent industry experience preferred Compensation $80-90k Benefits Medical, dental, vision and 401(k) match, paid sick leave where applicable by state law.
