Call Center Representative

Supporting South Carolina Medicaid members, the full-time hourly Call Center Representative will manage inquiries, provide product information, and assist with Medicaid applications in a remote setting, requiring residency within 60 miles of Columbia, SC. Key responsibilities Respond to Medicaid member inquiries using a computerized system, following standard scripts and procedures Gather information, assess caller needs, and document calls while resolving inquiries efficiently Advocate for Medicaid members by providing clear information regarding eligibility and assisting with application processes Required qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of call center experience in telephone customer service or related fields Ability to pass a Call Center - Service Skills Assessment and Internet Speed test Computer literacy with the ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously Must be able to submit to a pre-employment screening
