Your contributions will support ASML's mission to advance technology that enables innovations across industries.Role And ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead engineering work from concept through integration and validation. You will influence technical decisions, manage complex project scope, and guide colleagues through engineering challenges.Lead mechanical design and development activities for complex products, modules, and subsystems.Define requirements, interfaces, specifications, and verification criteria for mechanical solutions.Evaluate design options and recommend solutions balancing performance, quality, cost, safety, and manufacturability.Coordinate cross-functional engineering activities to support product integration and project milestones.Lead testing and validation activities to confirm performance, reliability, and release readiness.Identify technical risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.Mentor engineers, share technical knowledge, and improve engineering methods and practices.Education And ExperienceTo qualify for this Senior Mechanical Engineer position, you will need:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.Five or more years of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or complex system design.Experience leading technical projects or workstreams within multidisciplinary engineering environments.Experience with mechanical computer-aided design software, engineering drawings, and product lifecycle documentation.Experience with design analysis, system integration, testing, and validation methods.Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical guidance is preferred.SkillsWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you'll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
