Supervisory Contract Specialist

DutiesServes as business advisor, ensures all aspects of an acquisition are considered, including risks and incentives.Analyzes and applies procurement policies impacting a variety of programs.Develops acquisition strategies, and functions as lead negotiator.Accomplishes the full scope of personnel management responsibilities for the contracting activity.Performs post-award functions involving a variety of contract types, resolution of contractor delays, contractor evaluations, subcontractor surveillance, and disposition of claims.Responds to audit and Congressional inquiries.
