Job Title: Nurse Supervisor – Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Department: Emergency Room – Adult (Behavioral Health)
Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead clinical operations within the Behavioral Health Emergency Department . This role is responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff within the Adult Emergency Room Behavioral Health unit

• Ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care delivery

• Coordinate daily staffing, assignments, and workflow

• Monitor compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements

• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff

• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and leadership

• Address and resolve clinical and operational issues in real time

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (single-state license only; compact licenses not accepted)

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Required Experience

• Minimum of seven (7) years of nursing experience

• At least five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership role

• Behavioral Health experience required

• Emergency Room (Adult) experience strongly preferred
