Role Description This is an execution-focused Personal Assistant role supporting the CEO in both personal and business capacity. The primary objective is to remove friction from daily operations, manage logistics, and ensure small but critical tasks are handled without oversight. This is not a strategic or advisory role. It is a high-trust, behind-the-scenes execution position. The role is primarily in-person in Boston, with limited flexibility for remote work. Occasional travel and irregular hours may be required. Core Responsibilities Run personal and business errands efficiently (Boston-based) Take part in scheduling and calendar coordination Handle communications (drafting, organizing, relaying) Maintain organized digital and physical records Help coordinate meetings, appointments, and logistics Execute recurring and ad hoc administrative tasks Support light project coordination and follow-ups Anticipate needs and prepare in advance Operating Expectations Tasks are assigned clearly; execution is expected without hand-holding Limited decision authority; escape when unclear No financial or legal responsibility No independent spending authority Minimal meeting participation What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) Noticeable increase in available time and reduced mental load for CEO Tasks completed fully and correctly without follow-up Daily operations run smoothly without intervention Failure Looks Like Requires constant direction or reminders Missed details or incomplete execution Adds management overhead instead of removing it Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Reliable, consistent, and task-oriented Clear and concise communication Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, unstructured environment Proficiency with Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Sheets) Ability to manage multiple small tasks simultaneously Preferred but not required Exposure to startups, logistics, or operations Familiarity with seafood or supply chain environments Candidate Profile Early-career, high-output, and dependable Comfortable staying behind the scenes Low ego, high ownership of tasks Able to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy Compensation Bi-weekly pay Candidates are expected to propose compensation based on their capabilities Note This role prioritizes execution ability over credentials.
