Opportunity Overview

• Employment Type: Full Time - 1.0 FTE

• Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Movement Disorders
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan
• Completion of a fellowship in Movement Disorders is mandatory
• Proficient clinical skills in diagnosing and managing conditions such as Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and other movement disorders
• Experience with botulinum toxin injections and deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming is preferred
• Commitment to a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to care

Key Responsibilities

Your typical day may involve:

• Conducting outpatient evaluations and treatments for patients with various movement disorders
• Collaborating with neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and other subspecialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Administering botulinum toxin injections and performing DBS programming as clinically indicated
• Participating in interdisciplinary care meetings and contributing to clinical program development
• Educating patients and their families about disease progression and available treatment options
• Engaging in teaching, quality improvement initiatives, or research activities as desired
