Qualifications

• Candidates must hold board certification in Neurology from the ABPN.
• Fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in either Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology is required. Clinical neurophysiology training should emphasize EEG and include hands-on experience in both routine and complex neurophysiology, particularly in critical care EEG monitoring.
• Possession or eligibility for a Michigan Medical License is necessary.

Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

• Conducting clinical duties in an ambulatory setting at one of our clinic locations in Ann Arbor, Livingston, Livonia, or Chelsea.
• Clinic hours are generally from 8 am to 5 pm, including lunch breaks.
• Attending mandatory division, provider, and section meetings.
• Participating in rotation coverage for EEG readings (routine and continuous) from both ambulatory and inpatient sites, covering day and night shifts.
• Engaging in the evaluation of patients admitted for EMU monitoring.
